Hui Lin Tan

Senior Pelvic Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Special interest in Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal Conditions

Hui Lin Tan brings a unique blend of clinical physiotherapy expertise and movement science to her work. Since graduating with Honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2019, she has gained extensive experience within Singapore’s private healthcare sector, providing care for a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions, including disc prolapse, post–ACL reconstruction rehabilitation, and complex shoulder pathologies.

Hui Lin Tan’s philosophy centres on the belief that movement is medicine. She is one of the few practitioners who seamlessly bridges clinical physiotherapy with Pilates-based movement retraining, allowing her to address not only symptoms but also the underlying movement patterns contributing to pain or dysfunction. As a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and Polestar Pilates instructor, she uses Pilates as a powerful rehabilitation tool to optimise movement efficiency, restore strength, and build long-term resilience.

Alongside her strong musculoskeletal foundation, Hui Lin Tan has a particular passion for supporting women through all stages of life. She has undertaken postgraduate training through the Australian Physiotherapy Association in women’s pelvic health, enabling her to support women with conditions such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and core dysfunction. She is also a certified Pre- and Post-natal Pilates Specialist, providing safe, progressive, and empowering care throughout pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond.

Hui Lin Tan offers a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to care, with clinical interests that include pelvic floor and core rehabilitation, chronic neck and lower back pain, postural and spine-related conditions, shoulder and upper limb rehabilitation, and movement-based recovery. She is trained in dry needling and manual therapy, allowing her to effectively manage both acute and chronic pain related to stress, posture, and overuse.

A strong advocate for staying active across all stages of life, Hui Lin Tan understands the physical and emotional challenges that come with pain, injury, and recovery. She is deeply committed to educating and empowering her patients with the tools and confidence they need to move without fear, restore function, and take ownership of their long-term health and wellbeing.
