Monica Donaldson

Director & Co-Founder

Senior Pelvic Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapist

Monica started her career as a physiotherapist in the British National Health Services, where she got exposure to all clinical core areas. In 2004, she developed a special interest in women’s health and pelvic health physiotherapy and has never looked back. Whilst in the NHS, Monica spent several years seeing women across both in-patient and outpatient settings and worked in multi-disciplinary clinics such as the perineal trauma clinic at The Homerton Hospital. Since moving to Singapore in 2008, she has been working in private practice.

Monica is passionate about empowering her clients and helping them achieve their health goals. Her background in physical and health education cemented a keen interest in movement therapy, and she has further trained in mat and reformer Pilates (Stott Pilates Method), as well as Functional Strength Training (Rehab Trainer Course). Monica weaves pilates and strength training into her clients’ rehabilitation programmes.

An avid ‘movement fan’ herself, Monica has run 3 marathons (Berlin, New York and Paris) and several triathlons, but has more recently found a love for hiking and mountain climbing. In her free time, she also practices Pilates, yoga and weight training.

Monica is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
