Sophie is an experienced senior physiotherapist from Ireland, who moved to the Little Red Dot over ten years ago, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in treating musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries. Sophie has built a reputation for helping patients recover from both acute and chronic injuries and has dealt with a wide variety of post-operative orthopaedic cases.
Sophie combines her physiotherapy knowledge with her Polestar Pilates training to create treatment plans which utilise both manual therapy techniques, including dry needling, and Pilates exercises. This combined approach reduces recovery periods and improves strength, stability, alignment and motor control, providing fitness for life.
As a mother of two toddlers, Sophie has her own perspective on the challenges of returning to and maintaining an active life after childbirth and is dedicated to supporting women through this period with a thoughtful blend of her physio and Pilates backgrounds.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, rehabilitating your body after an operation, returning to sport at any level or simply want to feel fitter and stronger; Sophie believes a holistic treatment plan provides the best outcomes. Sophie has developed a keen interest in a variety of orthopaedic cases but has vast experience with post-operative spinal cases, ACLs and rotator cuff repairs.
Sophie loves being active and is constantly running around – whether for her own training or chasing her two children! Sophie has represented Singapore and Asia at an international level in Gaelic football and has dealt with her fair share of injuries. Sophie understands the importance of an effective treatment programme when returning to sports and generally being active.
